The Psychedelic Skeptic Podcast
Because nothing is a cure for everything.
Psychedelics are generating enormous excitement as treatments for depression, PTSD, anxiety, addiction, and existential distress. The research is promising. The hype is enormous. And the gap between the two is where things get complicated.
The Psychedelic Skeptic is a podcast hosted by Dr. Anne Metz — a licensed professional counselor, psilocybin facilitator, and clinical faculty member — that takes a critical, evidence-based look at psychedelic therapy, drug policy, and the rapidly growing psychedelic industry. The show explores both the genuine therapeutic potential of psychedelics and the risks, ethical concerns, and unanswered questions that don't always make the headlines.
