The promise of psychedelics has less to do with the trip, and more to do with the psychological work of translating these experiences into everyday life.

The integration is the real medicine.

What Is Psychedelic Integration?

Psychedelic experiences — whether with psilocybin, ayahuasca, MDMA, ketamine, or other substances — can produce powerful insights, emotions, and shifts in perspective. But without intentional follow-up, these experiences often fade. Integration is the process of making sense of what came up and translating it into concrete changes in your thinking, relationships, and daily life.

Integration isn’t about analyzing the experience into submission. It’s about creating the conditions for what emerged to take root — whether that’s a new understanding of yourself, a shift in a relationship pattern, a change in how you relate to grief or fear, or a sense of purpose that felt clear during the experience but hard to hold onto afterward.

What Is Psychedelic Preparation?

Preparation is the work you do before a psychedelic experience to maximize its potential benefit and minimize risk. This includes clarifying your intentions, building the internal resources to navigate difficult material if it arises, understanding what to expect, and addressing any fears or concerns. Adequate preparation is one of the strongest predictors of a positive outcome.

Who Is This For?

I work with individuals and couples who are planning a psychedelic experience on their own, through a retreat, or with another provider — and want clinical support on either side of it. I also work with people who have already had a psychedelic experience and are struggling to make sense of it or integrate what came up.

You do not need to be a client of mine for psilocybin facilitation to work with me for preparation or integration. These services are available via telehealth to clients in Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, California, and Virginia.

How It Works

Preparation sessions help you set intentions, identify what you want to explore, build coping strategies for challenging moments, and create a plan for the days surrounding the experience.

Integration sessions provide a structured space to process what emerged, identify themes and patterns, work through difficult or confusing material, and develop an action plan for carrying insights forward.

Pricing

Individual sessions are $200/hour. Most clients work with me for 2–4 sessions. Integration sessions may be eligible for out-of-network insurance reimbursement.
